What’s in a color or model name? Not much, unless it happens to be the new motorcycle you’re considering. Or if you’re a Color Explorer, the actual job title for those who name colors for a living.

In the spirit of brand identity and press releases, Triumph has announced new paint and livery options for all its lineup, save for models introduced this past year (Tiger 1200 family, Tiger Sport 660, and Speed Triple 1200 RR). In addition, two models will get updated names to better capture their “family connections.”

In the Modern Classics lineup, the Street Twin will now be known as the Speed Twin, while the Street Scrambler has been re-christened the Scrambler 900. This leaves the Street Triple 765 RS as the only “street” member of the Triumph family.

And the new colors? Lots of matte finishes and more than a few nods to the halcyon days of the 60′s and 70′s. In particular, the Bonneville T100′s Meriden Blue and Tangerine evokes the iconic Gulf livery of Le Mans movie-era racers.

Enough words; let’s go to the visuals. All new and updated model colors & livery shown below.
