SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ‒ May 18, 2021 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will auction some highly collectible Fords during the 2021 Las Vegas Auction, June 17-19, 2021, at the West Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Among them is a highly optioned 1966 K-Code Mustang (Lot #766) specially produced for Henry Ford II to use during his stay in France to watch Ford best Ferrari in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and an ultra-rare 2015 Shelby GT350R (Lot #715) formerly owned by Jon Gruden, Las Vegas Raiders head coach and Super Bowl champion, one of only 37 total 2015 Shelby GT350Rs built.

Lot #715 in Las Vegas is Jon Gruden’s ultra-rare 2015 Ford Shelby GT350R, selling with No Reserve.

“We have extraordinary examples of modern and classic Ford-powered collectibles headed to this year’s Las Vegas Auction,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Among the crown jewels in our Las Vegas docket are ‘The Deuce’s’ ’66 Mustang – which is said to have been driven by him to lap the racecourse during the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans opening ceremonies, and the 2015 Shelby GT350R once owned by Jon Gruden, a model with ownership originally limited to only Ford family and VIPs.”

Powered by its matching-numbers 289ci K-code V8 engine, Henry Ford II’s 1966 Mustang (Lot #766) features the GT Equipment Group and has an exclusive “HFII” logo prominently displayed on the steering wheel horn ring, seat belt buckles, exterior door badges and keys. Gruden’s 2015 Shelby GT350R (Lot #715) is #10 in the series, has only 157 miles and is painted in Avalanche Grey with red-accented black racing stripes.

Also headed to Las Vegas with No Reserve: this 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition.

Classic Ford Mustang customs crossing the block in Las Vegas include a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback (Lot #725). Powered by a 600-plus-horsepower Roush crate engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, this Mustang is painted in a unique black, white and red combination in honor of Ford’s 1969 Trans Am cars. Also headed to Las Vegas is an officially licensed 1967 Eleanor Tribute Edition (preview), which started as a factory 1967 Ford Mustang and was hand-built from the ground up.
