NASCAR is usually very intense, but occasionally some funny moments take place on the track that make some meaningful memories.
The king of American Motorsports has been claiming the hearts of stock-car racing fans since 1948. As one of the most colorful worlds of racing, with a different style for anyone’s interest, NASCAR has become one of America’s most beloved outlets for automotive racing.

With some discrepancies going on in the organization today, it is important to remember some of the most memorable times… or funny in this case. Let us look at some of the hilarious moments that have happened on and off the NASCAR tracks.
10 JJ Yeley Loves Bojangles
In 2018, JJ Yeley faced a hilarious moment on his 75th lap in the final stage of the Bank of America Roval 400. The driver of the No. 23 Toyota came around a curve and slammed into a barrier, accidentally picking up a Bojangles’ Famous Chicken and Biscuits advertisement.
After attempts to get the sign off, his pit crew came to the rescue and removed the sign. The best part about it is Chris Buescher did the same thing a few laps prior, taking an EchoPark automotive billboard with him. Maybe JJ wanted to be a moving billboard as well.
9 Austin Dillion’s Unique Celebration
Via Checkers to Wreckers
The winner of the 2011 Series Championship in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Ford 200 celebrated differently. At the time, 21-year-old Austin Dillion was so ecstatic he won the race, he jumped out of his No. 3 truck, ran towards the grass and attempted to belly slide across it.
Much to his dismay, he ended up only sliding about two feet, landing in a scorpion move. Although his victory celebration didn’t go as planned, it couldn’t take away from his amazing win.
8 The Chicagoland Orange
Watch out, a giant orange has gone rogue! In 2004, the Tropicana Orange got loose at Chicagoland Speedway during the Xfinity Series qualifications. Now, this is something you don’t see on an average day of NASCAR.
The 20-foot orange got loose and began rolling around the track, trying to catch up to Todd Szegedy in the process, who was currently soaring around the track. After a lot of effort, the inflatable racer was captured and the show went on. This must’ve been Tropicana’s way of getting their product on camera.

7 “The Intimidator” VS Windshield
Dale Earnhardt Sr., also known as “The Intimidator” took matters into his own hands while racing at Richmond Raceway in 1986. While racing, Dale’s car got covered in mud and his windshield became a challenge to see out of. Radioing into his pit crew Dale said, “I’m gonna be off the radio
